Manchester United 3-0 winners over West Ham

Scoring a goal - It feels strangely familiar thinks Wayne but is not sure why.

Manchester United have moved to third on the Premier League table with a comfortable 3-0 win over West Ham at Old Trafford.

Wayne Rooney who during the week had read is contract again and realised he was employed as a striker, scored from the spot when Ryan Giggs was brought down in the box. He hadn’t scored since March and fans are asking why he wasn’t reminded of his contract sooner. United in their defence claim that they were waiting for an illustrated copy so Wayne could understand it. Luis Nani and Dimitar Berbatov scored the other goals.

West Ham continue their ‘beaten’ run at the start of the seaason and are now so far down at the bottom of the table that like the trapped miners in Chile it might take until Christmas to dig them out.

There is a lot to be said for their consistency though with West Ham having not won an away game since the opening game of last season. It is early days but manager Avram Grant is already perfecting his ‘tortured soul’ look that he worked on at Portsmouth last season.

Another loss for West Ham next week and the Bookies will probably stop taking bets on their relegation from the Premier League.
