Massive Flooding in Pakistan – 1100 dead, thousands homeless- video

Real people - real suffering

The current flooding in Pakistan is the worst in 80 years and has claimed the lives of 1100 people so far.

The International Red Cross estimates that 2.5 million people are affected by the flooding. There are reports of whole villages washed away.

Pakistan has been racked by civil war, poverty and earthquakes in recent years. This is another devastating blow to a fragile country that has suffered so much already.

Here is hoping that politics and conflict can be put aside for a time and that the authorities in Pakistan can be inundated with international aid and left to focus on helping those in need.
