Hamilton fails again as Alonso wins F1 in Singapore

Looks more like the bridge of the Starship Enterpirse than Formula 1.

Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso held off Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel for the entire race to win the Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix.

McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton failed to finish after colliding with the Red Bull of Mark Webber. Perhaps Lewis should be going across to Dehli for the Commonwealth Games because he threw his steering wheel a personal best 10.2 metres after his crash.

Webber went on to finish third and consolidate his lead in the Drivers Championship. McLaren’s Jenson Button was third and showed teammate Hamilton how to finish a race. Hope you were watching Lewis.

Alonso’s win lifts the Spaniard to second in the drivers’ championship, just 11 points behind Webber, with Hamilton now nine points adrift in third.

With the year Spanish sport is having Alonso will probably win the title even if Paul the Octopus was to point his tentacle in the other direction.
