Liverpool out of relegation zone with 1-0 win over Bolton

I am Maxi Rodriguez. I have just scored for Liverpool. I am also a vampire and I shall now bite this goal post.

Maxi Rodriguez has tapped in a late goal to give Liverpool a 1-0 win over Bolton Wanderers in the English Premier League.

After weeks of Merseyside angst about being located in the Championship depature lounge they now find themselves respectably in the middle of the Premiership ladder in 12th place. Being respectable is a new experience for many Reds fans.

Liverpool Manager Roy Hodgson is now a finalist for the most relieved man in Britain, and gets to keep his job for another week. He will be keeping his fingers crossed owner John Henry does not endorse him as manager at their meeting later this week.

The result against Bolton is Liverpool’s first away victory since April. Incredibly they are now only a win away from the top five and regaining a place in Europe. Speaking of Europe life does not get any easier for them. They are up against Napoli in the Europa League on Thursday then host some outfit called Chelsea on Sunday.
