Roma coach Claudio Ranieri resigns

You fools!! Attack the other way and put the ball into the net. #$%@#!$%@#$% There goes another job.

Claudio Ranieri has resigned as coach of Italian Serie A side Roma after four successive defeats, the latest being a 4-3 loss to Genoa after leading 3-0.

Roma lie just outside the Champions League qualifying spots nine points behind Lazio.

Ranieri, 59 has only been in charge at Roma since September 2009. The cash strapped club has entered talks with American consortium, DiBenedetto for a 30 day exclusive period. It used to be the noveau rich Russians and dodgy asians bguying football clubs, now we have wall to wall st Americans.

Roma’s current Champions League campaign is on the ropes following a 3-2 home defeat to Shakhtar Donetsk in the Stadio Olimpico. Shaktar are notoriously difficult to topple at home. Still that is not Claudio’s problem now.

Ranieri formerly managed Chelsea in the UK Premier League from 2000 to 2004. He has also parked his lunchbox at Juventus, Valencia and Atletico Madrid.

Wonder if Ranieri wants the West Ham job? It seems to be the graveyard for ex-Chelsea managers.
