Prince William and Catherine start their honeymoon

Newswarped hopes the smiles from these two last a lifetime. The odds are stacked against them though.

Prince William and Catherine, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have begun their honeymoon, it has been announced by St James’s Palace.

Just where they have gone is a closely guarded secret. So the exciting geographically based game of ‘Where in the World are William and Kate?’ has begun in the media.

Despite the secrecy about the honeymoon, there is always an un-named royal source willing to spill the beans.

The best guess about the whereabouts of the the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge being reported at the moment is a private island in the Seychelles in the Indian Ocean, where they spent some time in 2007.

It would make sense. It is out of the public eye, and the Royal Navy can sink any paparazzi who sail into the honeymoon territorial waters.

“They have left for their honeymoon,” a spokesman for William’s office said, adding that they went “earlier this week”.

On their destination, St James’s Palace will only say that it is “abroad”.

“We are not confirming and we are not commenting on speculation on where they may be going on their private honeymoon. We are just confirming that they have gone,” the spokesman said.

“The couple have asked that their privacy be respected during their honeymoon.”

Newswarped says good luck to William and Catherine, and hopes they enjoy a quiet honeymoon away from the media glare. They carried off their wedding with impeccable grace and deserve some time to themselves.

We are surprised that Pippa Middleton wasn’t sent out as a decoy to lead the media a merry dance while William and Kate slipped away.
