Prince William involved in mountain rescue

Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge has been involved in two mountain rescues, only days after his wedding to Catherine Middleton.

Prince William was part ofthe crew of an RAF Sea King helicopter from RAF Valley in Anglesey who flew to a 70-year-old walker in Snowdonia.

The man is believed to have suffered a heart attack on the 2,946ft Lliwedd mountain on Wednesday night.

After flying the man to hospital the crew returned to the area and picked up four men off Snowdon after one of them suffred vertigo.

The men, were police officers from the West Midlands who were walking at 3,560ft on Crib Goch – a narrow ridge – when one of them suffered the vertigo attack. Prince Williams crew airlifted them to safety at the base of the mountain.

Who needs a honeymoon with a beautiful bride when you can dash around in the mountains in a helicopter rescuing people?
