Tristane Banon files charges against Dominique Strauss-Kahn

Tristane Banon - the victim of a rutting chimpanzee or her own imagination? Probably the chimp.

Lawyers acting for French writer and journalist Tristane Banon have said they are filing charges of sexaul asault against former International Monetary Fund chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn.

Banon, 31, claims Strauss-Kahn tried to rape her during an ‘interview’ in 2002. She made the claims on a French television show in 2007 but only recently identified Strauss-Kahn as the culprit.

Tristane Banon’s mother was a regional councillor in Strauss-Kahn’s Socialist party at the time and admits that she dissuaded her daughter form filing a complaint at te time of the alleged incident.

Banon said in the now famous quote that Strauss-Kahn came at her like a ”rutting chimpanzee.” She said “It finished very violently. I kicked him. He opened my bra. He tried to undo my jeans. It finished very badly.”

However Strauss-Kahn has hit back, dismissing her story as “imaginary” and says his lawyers will file a slander complaint against the writer.

Newswarped feels we shuld pointout that none of these accusations would have come to light if only Dominique Strauss-Kahn had kept his ‘Napoleon Bonaparte’ in is trousers.
