Rick Perry to seek Republican 2012 presidential nomination

My fellow Americans - this is the finger I pick my nose with. When I am in the White House I will continue to use the same finger to pick my nose with.

Texas Governor Rick Perry is set to join the race to become the Republican presidential nominee for the 2012 election.

Mr Perry is expected to announce his candidacy in Iowa on Saturday. A spokesman said Mr Perry would make his intentions “very clear”.

Rick is doing the Iowa thing as eight other Republican rivals were preparing to hold the third debate of the 2012 race in Iowa on Thursday.

Ricks campaign is so smart. Make his announcement in Iowa at the same time as the other contenders are arguing among themselves. Not only that, but he is going to make his intentions “very clear,” which is something Sarah Palin might have chosen to do with hindsight. These republican strategists – so cunning.

At the moment Mitt Romney seems to be the front runner with the chasing pack headed by Michele Bachmann, Tim Pawlenty and Jon Huntsman.

The candidates hope to win the Republican nomination to face President Barack Obama in the November 2012 general election.

Newswarped suspects that in this upcoming presidential election Obama only has to hold it together and not make any serious gaffs to win. The Republicans are fractured and highly likely to implode with in-fighting.
