Gaddafi vows to fight on in Libya

Colonel Gaddafi will prove very hard to find - he just blends in with the crowd.

Libyan leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi has vowed to carry on fighting his enemies in an audio recording broadcast on a loyalist TV station based in Damascus, Syria of all places.

“The Libyan people cannot kneel, cannot surrender, we are not women,” he said in the message on the al-Rai channel.

Hate to point this out to you your excellency but at least half of the Libyan people are women.

THe anti-Gaddafi rebel forces are encircling Gaddafi’s home city of Sirte. Their deadline for loyalists to lay down their arms has been extended by a week.

Meanwhile, senior diplomats are meeting in Paris for a major international conference on Libya’s future. It is always wonderful how the international community manages to come together in occasions like this and decide on behalf of another country what is going to happen to it. Shades of Munich 1938 about this kind of carry on.

Newswarped has always thought that a nations people should get to decide their own destiny – not a foreign country.

Colonel Gaddafi showed what a fantastic grasp of the facts of the situation he had saying, “There must be huge sacrifices for the sake of freedom, the traitors will come to an end and Nato now will collapse, and the traitors’ loyalty to Nato will collapse.”
